Updating Matlab license file on a Mac
This help page assumes that the user knows basic Mac commands.
- Download the following file to your Desktop
network.lic
( Control-click on the link and pick "Save Link As...")
- You'll need to know where Matlab is installed. Generally it is in Applications and is named something like "MATLAB_R2011b" or "MATLAB_R2011b.app". If it is not in Applications, you'll need to find it. Wherever it is, control-click on the Matlab icon and select Show Package Contents. This opens a new window. Drag the file you downloaded in step one onto the folder called "licenses". It may ask you about replacing the old file, just agree to Replace it.
- That's it.
