Installing Matlab on a Mac

This help page assumes that the user knows basic Mac commands.

1. Map the drive that Matlab resides on:
   Command-K to open the Connect to Server window
   
   Server Address: smb://fs1.cems.uvm.edu/data
   Click on Connect
   When the Authentication Window comes up, check the circle next to Registered User, enter your Netid and password, then click on Connect
   
2. Open the Matlab folder
3. Using Applications->TextEdit, open the file "MacInstall2012b" and follow the instructions contained in that file.
