CEMS Welcomes Charley Thompson

Charley Thompson has been newly appointed as the Major Gifts Officer for the College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences. In this role Charley will interact with alumni, faculty, students, external partners, and donors in an effort to keep all parties informed on developments and opportunities within the College.
Charley holds a BFA from Syracuse University and an MBA from Babson College and has extensive experience in financial services sales, sales management, design and implementation of training programs, and is well versed in estate planning and federal estate tax law. Most recently, Charley has served as Interim Senior Gift Officer for the Cambridge School of Weston in Weston, MA. At the Cambridge School, Charley engaged in a wide range of activities, including Annual and Major Gift fundraising, prospect identification and research and stewardship.
In addition, Charley has worked in twenty-five countries on five continents and has created and delivered training for 7,000 agents in the United States. His philanthropic activity includes work for Habitat for Humanity, Pendelton Place, and Safe Harbor.
