Diane Greene '76
As an undergraduate in the UVM/CEMS Mechanical Engineering program, Diane took time from her studies to relax by co-founding the first women's ice hockey team. She fondly remembers Dr. Von Branimir von Turkovich for his continual confidence and encouragement. Diane has given it her all as a student at UVM/CEMS and a businesswoman.
Diane credits her UVM experience with teaching her how to envision a goal and integrate the necessary components for success. And she does it well. Her ability to extrapolate and create tools, communication, a business environment and a company places her firmly at the forefront of the virtualization industry as founder, President, and CEO of VMware.
