Administrative Structure VT Part C

• The Office of Special Education Programs, U.S. Department of Education administers Part C and B of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEIA) 2004.
• The VT Agency of Human Services (AHS) & VT Department of Education are Co-Lead Agencies.
• The Child Development Division (CDD) in the Department for Children and Families (DCF)/AHS is the administrative agency for the Part C program and is responsible for overall supervision and support.
• The gubenatorially-appointed Vermont Interagency Coordinating Council (VICC) provides advice and assistance related to overall program implementation and improvement.
