Perkins Early Connections Conference Coming in May!

The Vermont Sensory Access Project announces an exciting networking opportuity through Perkins School for the Blind!

Save the date for this year's Early Connections Conference:

This annual conference, held on Saturday, May 3, 2014, offers a unique opportunity for parents of children with visual impairments (birth-7) and professionals to come together to both learn new information and to network. Lunch and childcare are provided.

Some sessions will include "make and take" activities as well as practical advice for increasing independence whether your child has low vision, or is blind, deafblind, with or without additional disabilities. Parent-to-Parent Support groups will be offered providing an opportunity for parents of children with similar visual and/or sensory impairments to meet and share their experiences and ideas. The keynote speaker will be Susan LaVenture, Executive Director of NAPVI.
