Project Activities

  • Collection and sharing of resources on the subject of bathroom/toileting competence for individuals needing support in this area. Materials are relevant for parents, educators, agency staff, child care providers, therapeutic service providers, health care professionals, individuals with disabilities, and other interested parties.
  • Providing training, collaboration, and technical assistance/consultation to individuals, schools, agencies, teams and others who are involved in promoting, developing, and implementing toileting programs for individuals ages 0-22 years.
  • Promoting interagency collaboration at all levels, with the goal of establishing independence and mastery of toilet skills as a priority for all individuals.
  • Respecting and honoring each individual's personal goals for skill attainment, using a Self-Determination framework of support, goal-setting, and participation.
