  • Provide training, collaboration and telephone support to individuals, schools, agencies, and others who regularly come in contact with individuals with disabilities and who may be in a position to promote and implement toilet training programs.
  • Provide follow-up telephone technical assistance and support to teams who need help developing a toileting plan or locating specific resources to carry out a toileting plan.
  • Promote interagency collaboration at all levels and the establishment of independent toileting as a priority for all people with developmental disabilities because of its profound impact on a person's health, self esteem, and ability to be self-sufficient.
