VT LEND Clinical Director & Associate Training Director, Speech Language Pathology Faculty

Interests: Weaving, hiking, rowing, laughing, challenging my own biases and learning from people who are different from me.
Family: Husband, 2 adult children; daughter living out of state and son beginning college, and one sweet elderly dog.
Reason for serving on the council: VT LEND and CDCI have a long history. VT LEND trains new leaders to improve the quality of life of children and youth with complex needs and their families. I have worked with individuals with disabilities for 25 years in Vermont and want to support continuing change in our systems to provide equitable services for all, particularly from former refugee communities in Vermont. Serving on the council is a way to collaborate and meet these goals.
