AT Tryout Center Services
AT Tryout Center staff will demonstrate specific Assistive
Technology (AT) devices or software for the purpose of assisting
consumers and/or their representatives in making informed decisions
Our AT Tryout Center makes short-term equipment (not financial)
loans of up to 30 days to allow consumers to try out and evaluate
AT devices. The types of equipment available include augmentative communication devices (such as dynamic display, picture symbols, switch access), computer access (such as text readers, speech recognition, keyboard and mouse alternatives), and environment control devices (such as X10 technology).

Our AT Tryout Center provides information regarding AT devices and
services, funding, and other disability-related topics by email, to
walk-in visitors, and on our website.

individual devices or categories of equipment or software, and may
relate to particular disabilities or to specific environments.
