This certificate provides people in a variety of educational, health care and other occupations the opportunity to acquire knowledge that is critical to understanding and supporting persons with disabilities in communities.

Intensive Special Education Sequence

The Intensive Special Education Sequence is a distance based course sequence designed for teachers to gain the necessary knowledge and credentials to apply for a Vermont Intensive Special Education Endorsement.

Vermont Early Intervention/ Early Childhood Special Education Programs

The University of Vermont's College of Education and Social Services (CESS) offers a baccalaureate and a masters degree in Early Intervention and Early Childhood Special Education. CDCI collaborates with CESS to enhance these programs and offer partial tuition remission to enrolled students who meet requirements.
