This certificate provides people in a variety of educational, health care and other occupations the opportunity to acquire knowledge that is critical to understanding and supporting persons with disabilities in communities.

The University of Vermont's College of Education and Social Services (CESS) offers a baccalaureate and a masters degree in Early Intervention and Early Childhood Special Education.
