Community Planning Tools for Vermont.

Vermont's local planning community can benefit from the effective use of data and information technology. This project supports this through the creation and support of various data and planning tools. Examples are the Vermont Planning Information Center (www.vpic.info), the Vermont Town Plan Guide (http://crs.uvm.edu/cpdp/planner), and the Build Out Analysis Software package (http://crs.uvm.edu/cpdp/buildout). Project work also includes presentations and workshops on data resources. The planning community can use these resources to support local decision-making processes. (F. Schmidt, W.
