Bio/Interests:

Norm is in his 14th year of teaching at UVM in CDAE.
Professor and former Chair, Department of Business, Economics and Hospitality Tourism Management, Johnson State College.
Federal Small Business Development Center (SBDC) faculty representative for Lamoille and Chittenden Counties - providing counseling to small business owners.
Completed research in Honduras for an agricultural cooperative under the Vermont/Honduras Farmer to Farmer initiative.
Completed research investigating area revitalization for the Barton Town Main Street Committee under grants from the McConnell Foundation and the Vermont Community Development Program.
He is an author of a series of longitudinal Economic Impact Studies and Snowmobile User Surveys for the Vermont Association of Snow Travelers, Inc. (VAST)
Former entrepreneur/ small business owner.

Previously, senior executive and President of several ski and snowboarding companies.
