Chloe considers home to be Trappe, a small town in rural Maryland where she grew up before moving to northern Virginia. She attended the University of Virginia where she earned a BA in History with a special interest in mondern African history and politics. After college, Chloe moved to Frankfurt, Germany, where she worked for ProCredit Holding, a group devoted to building banks and providing responsible banking services to small business owners throughout Eastern Europe, Africa, and Latin America. She later moved back to Maryland where she hoped to start a small farm winery near her hometown on the Eastern Shore. By studying in CDAE, Chloe hopes to fuse together these experiences and learn ways to build and create opportunities in rural areas, both at home and abroad.
