Olivia Saucier was born in the US but lived in France for most of her life. She studied International relations in college but always had an interest in environmental and food issues. After graduation, she served in AmeriCorps NCCC for a year, and throughout her projects she saw how important it is to strengthen local communities by making them more resilient. Before coming to UVM, she worked in France for two years as a translator. Olivia’s interests include: the building of new community centers and green spaces, environmental education and awareness, social justice programs, and increasing access to local and organic food.
