After graduating from Northeastern University in 2007 with a dual B.A. in Environmental Studies and History, Jackie moved to Vermont to serve as an AmeriCorps* VISTA for enVision Montpelier, a long-term sustainable city planning project. In AmeriCorps, she was particularly interested in learning about poverty issues and local food systems. Her research focus in CDAE is to explore the interplay of these two topics in Vermont communities. Jackie currently works in Career Services at UVM managing the website and working with recruiters. She loves cooking, playing soccer, camping and hiking, and playing with her dog, Russell.
