After obtaining a degree is Business Administration with a focus in Marketing and a minor in Philospohy (his business professors never understood why), Jacob explored the real world in Boston for a few years before applying to the Peace Corps. In 2006, he traveled to Suriname as a Peace Corps Volunteer, where he worked in a small business development program. He lived in the capital city, Paramaribo, and worked in the offices of the WWF (pandas, not wrestlers) for two years, leaving in 2008. After a month exploring South America and a year living in Boston again, Jacob moved to Burlington to attend the University of Vermont. Aside from his studies, Jacob enjoys all kinds of games, fencing and martial arts, science-fiction novels, comic books, and dancing.
