Pre-Health Advisor, Career Counselor

A premed undergrad at Middlebury College, I never predicted landing at
UVM as a pre health advisor, now twice; and I am thrilled to be back in
this role.  Back in college, a summer internship in genetic counseling
planted the seeds for a new direction and a graduate degree in counseling
from UVM.  To make a long story short, I discovered my passion for counseling
and advising students with a pre health focus.  Chapters of that story
include career counseling, adjunct teaching, academic coaching and medical
school admissions. Along the way, I continued to feed my enduring interest in health
care through volunteer work at Planned Parenthood and FAHC, along with
hospice training.  It is a joy and an inspiration to help students
articulate and pursue their goals.
