The $15 million gift to the Campaign for UVM is one of the 60 largest philanthropic gifts of 2003.
According to Slate Magazine, the $15 million gift made by Steve & Beverly Rubenstein to the Campaign for the University of Vermont, and which reestablished the School of Natural Resources as The Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources, ranked 52 out of 60 top philanthropic gifts made in the United States last year.
