5.10.07 BOVE FAMILY LEGACY HONORED
Ernest Bove, M.D. '81, of Mid Vermont Urology in Rutland, recently gifted $15,000 to the UVM College of Medicine Fund, which primarily supports scholarships and other forms of student support. His gift will be recognized with the naming of a room in the Professional Learning and Assessment Center at the UVM College of Medicine — an integral part of the Vermont Integrated Curriculum at the College where students receive training in clinical care. The room will be named The Bove Family Room, honoring a legacy of Boves attending the College of Medicine, including Dr. Bove's father, Edward R. Bove, M.D. '46, and his daughter, Erica L. Bove, a student in the UVM medical class of 2009.
