your Choice Presentation.

Gigs) to lab when you present.

speaking schedule for when you are presenting and your lab
role.
Tips From TAs:
- Follow the Critique Sheets!
- The Choice
presentation is most heavily weighted - we are expecting
improvement!
- Presentation
should be 7-9 minutes.
- Make sure your
PREVIEW is clear and obvious
- Restate must knows
must be specific (not categorical), and the conclusion
should be separate from the restate must knows.
- Use creative hooks

- Audience ACTION
must be clear in Persuasive presentations.
- Cite images, and
use blank black slides between images.

of others and get feedback

Presentation suggested order of things to do:
1. Mind Map first draft
2. Research your topic
3. Detailed
outline
4. Mind Map
second draft
5. Presentation outline
(big font, one sheet)
6. Practice at least three times in front of friends
and get feedback
7. GIVE YOUR PRESENTATION
8. View your presentation, read peer evaluations,
reflect
9. Write your reflection paper
10. Assemble your reflection folder: Reflection
Folder Checklist folder is due at the beginning of lab the
following week. Here's an example of the Contents
of the Reflection Folder.
Reflection folders may be
delivered to Dr. L's office - 208 D Morrill
Hall (third floor - turn left, then right past
photocopier into 208. Office is at end of the hall under the red
"Catamount" sign).
