Boulders 2001

Brian Cain - I was born on 9/20/78 and have lived my eintire life in the small town of Williamstown Mass. I went to Mt. Greylock High School where I was a three sport athlete in Football, Basketball and Baseball.

I am a physical education major with a major concentration in exercise and sport science. I am a pitcher on the baseball team and would like to play professionally someday. I would also like to coach.

I plan on going to graduate school and possible persueing a degree in Sport Psychology.

At UVM I work as a Resident Assistant and on the Athletic Department Event Staff.

I am also a member of the Mortar Board Honor Society, and a three year member of the America East Spring Honor Roll.

Matthew Storer [President] - Having been raised in a town fifteen minutes outside of Burlington has made UVM a part of my life from day one. Williston has changed a lot since then, and so has the surrounding community.

High school for some reason did not generate the enthusiasm I would have hoped, or perhaps it was a lack of maturity that kept me from getting more involved. As it was, I was a system administrator on the school's bulletin board system, a member of the computer club, and part time ski instructor at the Cochran ski area. Somehow I sailed on through and landed myself here at UVM in the Fall of 1996.

Currently, I am a senior in the college of Engineering and Mathematics studying Computer Science and Information Systems. I have worked at the Computing & Information Technology (CIT) Helpline for the last three years, and held a web-programming internship with CIT over the summer of 2000.

Since coming to UVM, I have been a Senator in the Student Government Association, and for a short while I was the Chairman of the Student Activities Committee. I have held such offices as President, Vice President, Recruitment Chairman, and IFC Representative for my fraternity, Phi Delta Theta. I am also a member of the Academic Honesty Hearing Panel. Currently, I hold office as the Technology Chairman for the 2001 Senior Class Council, am a Resident Assistant in the Living & Learning complex, Rush Chairman for Phi Delt, and president of this fine society.

I have been on the Dean's List for several semesters, have received the UVM Greek "Top Ten" award for Fall 1999, appear within the 23rd edition of the National Dean's List, and am the recipient of the 2000 University of Vermont Outstanding Greek Fellowship Award.
