Academic Support Programs (ASP) is committed to working with individuals from all backgrounds. Within ASP we foster a broad definition of diversity. The definition we use for diversity is as follows:
Diversity identifies student groups who have historically been underserved or underrepresented in higher education (e.g., people of color; students with disabilities; nontraditional students; female students; religious minorities; international students; first-generation college students; limited-income students, and lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender students).
ASP is currently involved in ongoing projects to promote multiculturalism and diversity.
