Emergency Preparedness

Most people don't want to know what to do in case of an emergency until disaster strikes. Getting the right information quickly can be difficult. Prepare your farm for a quick response by posting an emergency contact list, having individual identification for your animals, and knowing what to expect in case of a foreign animal disease emergency or an infectious disease outbreak. Resources on disaster planning for livestock and FDA guidelines for milk security are included in this section. Click on the topic of interest at the left for additional information.
