“Building a foundation
for future generations through brotherhood and education.”
*Formerly known as
Men of Color*
The Brotherhood grew out of a focus group, originally
named Men of Color
put together through a Department of Justice grant investigating
sexual violence on college campuses. Originally convened to
discuss this topic, members soon realized the positive energy
created through men of color getting together to both discuss
important issues and socialize.
This is an
opportunity for ALANA Bi/Multi Racial Men at UVM to have a
space to discuss various topics, connect with other Men of
color at UVM, and have fun in a supportive environment. This
multi-generational group is open to all men of
color---faculty, staff, and students.
Past events have included: super bowl
parties, movie nights, potluck dinners, trips, playing pool,
paintballing and other activities.
