I create interactive multimedia installations that are grounded in the personal and function as feminist commentaries on modern culture. I utilize humor, amateurism and low technologies to probe the psychological and cultural constructions of self- identity. These computer-controlled interactive works are motivated by my desire to engage the viewer as both a co-conspirator and collaborator. Each installation involves what I term the ecology of perception.
