LAUREL FULTON is a painter living and working in Burlington. She studied painting at Bard College and Prescott College. She has since studied at UVM and Harvard. She is currently pursuing ways of integrating her artwork into the local community, by showing at markets and local galleries and through the use of local, recycled materials and the celebration of our surrounding landscape.
AMANDA C. SANFILIPPO is an arts professional with a focus in curating and gallery practice in contemporary art. She has a BA in Art History from the University of Vermont (’07) and has been the Assistant Curator and Gallery Manager at the BCA Firehouse Gallery since July ’07, where she has organized over 15 exhibitions and managed various programs. She has independently curated exhibitions of nationally and internationally exhibited artists, accepts speaking invitations, and has published articles and essays regarding contemporary art. She is currently publishing a book on contemporary portraiture, expected completion Spring 2010.
