The University of Vermont has identified the Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Complex as its highest priority facilities need in the Capital Plan for the institution.  The existing facilities housing the programs of Chemistry, Physics, School of Engineering, Mathematics and Statistics and Computer Science are deficient and require upgrades to meet current needs.  It is the intent of the University to construct a modern laboratory/classroom/office complex to accommodate the teaching and research needs of these programs.
