All Ant Camp activities are held at the main campus of the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont.  The campus is situated just up the hill from downtown Burlington and Lake Champlain.  Hands-on research and data analysis will be conducted in the laboratory space of Dr. Helms Cahan, using the same equipment and materials that are used in her group’s research into behavior, evolution and genetics of desert ants.  Discussions, lectures, planning sessions and movies will be held in the lecture spaces within the Marsh life Sciences building and/or in the meeting rooms of the new Davis Student Center.
