An undergraduate minor in ALANA U.S. Ethnic Studies may lead to
continued work in ethnic studies, but is also excellent preparation for
graduate work in History, Sociology, English, Anthropology, and
American
cultures. In addition, an ALANA U.S. Ethnic Studies minor may
serve
as preparation for professional study in Law or Theology.
Graduates of ALANA U.S. Ethnic Studies have found work in primary
and secondary
education, journalism, publishing and community service. In
general,
ALANA U.S. Ethnic Studies gives students a more representative picture
of the society in which they will live and work.
