Women's Health

The Women's Health Clinic provides a comprehensive and holistic approach to the care of female students at UVM. Our goal is to create a confidential, non-judgmental, and cost-effective environment in which to address the unique and often sensitive topics specific to women.

Our services also include a wide range of preventative and educational information. The providers and staff of the Women’s Health Clinic advocate for women and are committed to providing compassionate and individualized care to all UVM female students including transgender. We welcome all regardless of background, race, religion and sexual orientation or practices.

We welcome you to call or go on line to make an appointment for:

  • Annual comprehensive health assessment (traditional annual physical)
  • Pap smear if indicated
  • Evaluation and Treatment for Vaginal and Urinary Tract Infections
  • Screening and Management of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI's)
  • HPV Vaccine information and immunization
  • Pregnancy Prevention counseling and prescriptions
  • Pregnancy testing and nonjudgmental pregnancy options discussion
  • Evaluation following unplanned or/and unwanted sexual experience or assault
  • Problems and issues related to menses
  • Eating disorders
  • Genital lesions
  • Any other pelvic or female related concern you may have

During your visit, we try to integrate all areas of your life including mental, physical, and nutritional health. You may also come in to discuss any other aspects of your health including:

  • Relationships & communication
  • Self-esteem
  • Drug and alcohol use
  • Sexual dysfunction
  • PMS
