The Undergraduate Writing Center works with undergraduate students and post-baccalaureate matriculated/continuing education students of all writing abilities and course levels.

More than 40 Undergraduate Writing Center peer tutors, from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds, support undergraduate course students with their academic, professional, and personal writing projects in an inclusive, productive, comfortable, confidential, and distraction-free peer-tutoring environment. Tutors work to engage students in a dialogue that meets the immediate needs of their writing project while also supporting their development as writers.  From reviewing assignments, brainstorming, and getting organized, to forming an argument, revising, and citing sources, peer writing tutors can assist students at any point in the writing process.  All writers benefit from talking through their ideas!
