U 32 High school teacher Brian Slopey to present at NSTA National Conference in Boston, MA

We would like to share that one of our esteemed colleagues, Brian Slopey (science teacher at U-32 high school), will be presenting at the National Science Teachers Association Conference this Wednesday, April 3rd.  You can read more about what Mr. Slopey will be presenting below!

Aquarium Design: Biological Engineering

"High school students are challenged to develop a sustainable aquarium design, using engineering practices encompassing skills and knowledge that extend what is meant by "inquiring" in science. This session will share the process used in guiding students through developing an aquarium design project using Next Generation engineering standards."

Mr. Slopey will also be will be presenting on his student's work with the UVM Watershed Alliance at the Vermont Science Teacher Association meeting on April 30th at Lake More, VT. More details to follow.
