Join us for a pasture walk and farmer discussion at Lilac Ridge Organic Dairy in Brattleboro, VT. Sarah Flack, NOFA-VT Farm Advisor, will be joining Ross and Amanda Thurber as we tour the farm and discuss current issues for organic dairy farmers. This will be followed by a casual potluck at 7pm.

Farm Safety Training
Time: 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Location: Blue Spruce Farm, Bridport, VT
Description: Topics will include:
Fire Safety with a hands on demo – everyone will get to practice using a fire extinguisher!
Basic First Aid – this training will start at 11:30
Both of these topics will be bilingual so bring your Hispanic employees!
We will also discuss Road Safety as well as PTO Safety
Come for part or all of the training. Lunch is included. Plus door prizes.
Plan to attend – it’s a short time commitment and a very important topic.
