About WAgN : Funding

The Women’s Agricultural Network (WAgN) is a collaborative effort of the University of Vermont Extension System and the United States Department of Agriculture.

WAgN is funded by grants, gifts and program fees.

Grant funding is from:

• John Merck Fund;
• Northeast Region Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program (NE-SARE);
• Northeast Center for Risk Management Education;
• Outreach and Assistance for Socially Disadvantaged Farmers and Ranchers Competitive Grants program of the USDA Cooperative State Research, Education and Extension (CSREES) Service, Grant #2005-5120002299;
• USDA Risk Management Agency.
