SARE 2004 Conference
Fee waiver, reimbursement, and honorarium policies
 
Farmers hosting tours: $200 (done as a payment for facilities) and allocation up to $200 per farm to buy some of their product as 'samples.
'
Moderators get free registration.
 
Speakers: free registration, travel reimbursed (need prior approval for air flights), 2 nights lodging (and $200 honorarium to farmer/self employed and 'non-salaried' non-profits; not university or agency types).
 
Farmer poster presenters: free registration, travel reimbursed (prior approval for air flights), 2 nights lodging, and $200 honorarium. (May include a free registration for the spouse if requested when spouse is very involved in the project and farm, but no extra travel or lodging).
Researcher poster presenters: free registration and lodging (2 nights).

Non-profit educational displays: pay $25 fee (up to 2 free registrations).

AC & TC alumni: reimbursed for travel and lodging.

AC & TC members: will be reimbursed registration, travel, & 2 nights lodging.

PDP Committee, current members: use their state allocations to cover travel and lodging costs.

Conference committee: costs covered with approval from coordinator.
