Pink packets of Sweet ‘N Low are a familiar icon on the American cultural landscape… or at least on the table at your favorite restaurant. Less familiar is the story of Marvin Eisenstadt ’54, CEO, who oversees the production of Sweet ‘N Low and other Cumberland Packing products with business savvy and a heart that puts people before the bottom line.
From downtown diners to century-old barns, UVM Professor Tom Visser brings vision and voice to the need for preserving Vermont’s historic buildings. His work at the Champlain Valley’s Rokeby Farm has resulted in the revival of this historic site, significant for its past as a working farm and a stop on the Underground Railroad.
