PROJECT DESCRIPTION

(1992-08-04 - Current) This ongoing effort by the State of Vermont monitors the levels of a range of airborne pollutants for enforcement, trend analysis and health advisories. Measured quantities include ozone, fine particulate matter (since 1999), chemical speciation of fine particulate matter (since 2001), carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides, as well as a range of toxic elements. The site at Underhill is part of a statewide network of monitoring stations.
