Seminar Description:
We are sorry to announce that this Project Management seminar has been canceled. Please call 802-656-4681 if you have any questions. Thank you.
This one-day, introductory training is ideal for those with no
previous project management training, who find that more and more of
their work assignments are project oriented. During the one-day
training you learn not only how to manage a project effectively but
also how to focus on the right project at the right time, or "What do I
need to do today?"
This engaging and highly interactive
seminar will help you think differently about how you spend your time
and give you the tools to:
- Implement a simple, four-step project management process of visualize, plan, implement, and close;
- Interview key stakeholders;
- Create clear vision statements that reflect key stakeholder buy-in;
- Break the project into manageable pieces to create a plan and a timeline;
- Ensure that appropriate "go" or "no-go" decisions are made during the process;
- Coordinate project workload back into weekly and daily schedules;
- Close projects by evaluating success and identifying future improvements.
Benefits
Bottom-line benefits to your organization include:
- Decreased costs through better planning, less rework, and smarter workload management

- Greater control over a project's progress
