Academic Support Programs
A group of UVM Upward Bound high school students visited this Wednesday to explore how the Farm is working to be sustainable. Their visit included viewing the slide show and a welcome from Dave Jonah. They met with Sam Smith to see the lamb flock and learn about rotational grazing methods. A stop at the Children’s Farmyard and cheese making was followed by a hot discussion on biochar with Marshall Webb. After roasting marshmallows as they created biochar, they headed off to the garden for a chat with Josh Carter.
