Gaseous Fuels (natural gas and propane) and Gaseous Fuel Vehicles:
This workshop covers compressed natural gas, liquefied natural gas, and propane, and introduces the different types of gaseous fueling stations and station safety systems.

First Responder Safety Training: Hydrogen and Hydrogen-Powered Vehicles:
This workshop introduces first responders to hydrogen properties, describes current hydrogen-powered vehicles, and explains the various hydrogen-powered vehicle components.

Course Materials Provided to the Participant:
• First Responder Safety Training for Gaseous Fuel Vehicles (CNG, LNG, Propane)
• First Responder Safety Training for Hydrogen Fuel Vehicles
• NAFTC’s Quick Reference Guide

This workshop reviews how first responders should approach and assess an incident, required personal protective equipment for responding to an incident, general firefighting measures, and extrication.

Actual vehicles will be used in the training Training funded by a New England wide Department of Energy grant.
