To encourage the use of the Chittenden County Transportation Authority (CCTA) bus service as an alternative means of commuting to work and school, the Department of Transportation and Parking Services in conjunction with the Campus Area Transportation Management Association (CATMA), offers fare-free unlimited access to full time faculty, staff, and students. As this program is 100% funded by Transportation and Parking Services, CCTA bus passes are no longer sold at any locations on campus.
For faculty, staff and students who would like to take advantage of this new program you must present the CCTA transit operator with a valid UVM ID card. The only UVM identification cards accepted are those assigned to full time faculty, staff and students. This card stock has an image of Ira Allen Chapel and the Billings Student Center. Under no circumstances will the card stock with the Catamount image be accepted.
