Welcome to the University of Vermont Virtual Private Network Site. The UVM VPN Service is designed to allow University Faculty, Staff, and Students to securely "tunnel" into campus over commodity networks, such as the Internet, and access services as if they were on campus. The "Cat's PAWS" wireless network is also secured by a VPN and in order to access this wireless network, you will need client software. Clients are available for Windows (all versions), Mac OS 8 and 9, and Mac OS X.
The only two things you need to begin using the VPN are the software and a valid UVM NetID. Download the clients from: https://www.uvm.edu/software/.
