The conference began with a lunch and a welcome from Gioia Thompson, Director at UVM's Office of Sustainability; Kurt Teichurt, Brown University's Manager of Environmental Stewardship Initiatives and NECSC Steering Committee member; and Mieko A. Ozeki, Conference Coordinator and Projects Coordinator at UVM's Office of Sustainability.
