Walkers and cyclists often must walk alongside roads to travel throughout campus.  While a few large greens exist, traveling from one area to another typically requires foot traffic on the road.  Develop a campus-wide plan to re-configure road patterns over time, especially around res halls.  A car-free campus?  In spite of many footpaths, it still seems that the campus was designed first for cars, and walkways were then fit around the roads.
