Al Gore: The Climate Crisis and The Case for Hope

When somebody as iconic as Al Gore comes to give a talk on campus, students and community members alike are always anxious to get their hands on tickets. Individuals who  wished to hear the 45th Vice President of the United States give his insight on climate change, were clearly prepared; general admission tickets to the event were gone within 45 minutes of being released to the public. It’s no surprise that people were anxious to hear Gore speak.

Rolf Keilman is an architect at Truex & Cullins and former managing partner of the Burlington-based firm. Statement from Rolf on his approach to architecture: My mother and father were both craft people. As a weaver and silversmith, they spent their lives crafting items of beauty and utility. My interest in art and architecture came through sculpture and this has spurred a sustained involvement in the craft of building design. Architecture is a child-like activity…creative, spontaneous but requiring great care and method.
