The Office of Sustainability, on behalf of UVM’s Clean Energy Fund (CEF), seeks four summer interns to take part in the documentation and observation of two CEF-funded projects this summer: (1) Equine Center Photovoltaic System and (2) Campus Comprehensive Renewable Energy Study. Sustained by a self-imposed student fee of $10 per student per semester, UVM’s Clean Energy Fund is designed to advance renewable energy research, education, and infrastructure on campus.
The academic value of these internships is for students to develop a better understanding of renewable energy and what role it can play into the operation and climate action goals of institutions such as UVM. Interns will bring a student perspective to a project that is largely managed by outside consultants. Both of these internships have technical components. We encourage all students to apply and in particular encourage students with an engineering focus. Stipends are available for these internships.
