Tim DeChristopher is an environmental activist and founder of Peaceful Uprising. In 2010 Tim bid on 22,000 acres of fragile land in southern Utah at a government oil and gas lease auction. He was arrested and convicted of fraud. He served two years in prison for his act of civil disobedience. Recently released from prison, Tim is inspiring people across the country to stand up against extreme energy extraction.
