TREK: Become a Leader

So, you want to become a TREK Leader?

Were you a TREKKIE last year? Did you love it? Have you been waiting to be a TREK leader all this time? Don't miss your chance to introduce new UVM students to the local community, leadership opportunities, or the great outdoors.

Find out more about the TREK Programs occuring Saturday August 17th, 2013 through Thursday August 22nd, 2013 this year on the Wilderness & Service sections of this TREK site.

TREK Leader mandatory training will take place from August 11th-16th, 2013.

Wilderness TREK

The Wilderness TREK Leader Application and Data forms will be collected via The Lynx this year! Please read directions below.

1. Log into The Lynx using your UVM NetID and Password.
   
   
2. Search for TREK 2013.


3. Once you are on the TREK 2013 Lynx page, select Forms. All applicants must fill out the 2013 TREK Leader Data Sheet and 2013 TREK Leader Application. Submitting just one of these forms does not complete your applications. If you have any questions, please call us at Student Life 656-2060.

 

Service TREK

1. Log into The Lynx using your UVM NetID and Password.
   
   
2. Complete and submit the form entitled 'Service TREK 2013 Leader Info and Application'.

The Service TREK Leader application deadline this year is Monday, April 1st, 2013 by NOON. Service TREK Leader Applications must be submitted via The Lynx (late applications will NOT be considered, so be on time!). You will be contacted to set up an interview or about the next steps regarding your application during the first two weeks in April.
