I recently graduated from UVM with my Masters in Education. I am originally from Buffalo, NY where I graduated with my B.F.A. in Theatre from Niagara University in 2002. After graduating from college I performed with local theatre companies in Buffalo for a few years. In 2004 I moved to Richmond, VA and toured with a children’s theatre company throughout the state of Virginia before moving to New York City. There I worked in the financial district for four years before making the big move to Burlington, VT in 2008 in order to return to my passion for education and helping college students. I love being a mentor and helping students create meaning in their lives.

I grew up in south Texas, where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Geography - Urban and Regional Planning from Texas State University. After moving to Vermont in 2000, I earned a master's degree and began my professional career, which has taken me from Johnson State College to Champlain College and now The University of Vermont. Being a first-generation college graduate myself, I am thrilled at the opportunity to support this population of students. It is a joy to witness the success of those who are blazing new and uncharted trails in their family's story. As for my family, my partner Chris and I have two very young children and live about fifteen minutes south of the Canadian border. My free time is quickly filled with art projects and hiking in the woods. I would enjoy an opportunity to meet with you. Please, stop by and say hi!

I am originally from the Bronx, New York City.  When I was twelve, my family moved to northern New Jersey.  I attended Montclair State University where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Social Studies.  After graduating from college, I spent two years in Brazil as a Peace Corps volunteer.  I earned a Master's of Education in Guidance and Counseling from Ohio State University.  In addition, I have a Doctorate of Education from UVM.  For enjoyment, I like to garden, read, swim, ice skate, and sail.  Having a chance to work with the wonderful TRIO/SSS students gives meaning to my life.  Each student I meet enhances and enriches my life.

I am originally from Philadelphia, but have lived all over the country since then (mainly on the west coast), and now live in lovely Vermont. I graduated from Brown University with a degree in Development Studies and got my Master’s degree at School for International Training, in International Education. I have worked in higher education for over 10 years, and have also worked as a community organizer, massage therapist, and had my own small business. Life is full of opportunity and I love helping students define and pursue their interests.

I moved to the USA from Moscow, Russia, in 2000 and have been working for the Learning Co-op and SSS program at UVM since August 2001. I studied sciences and math at the Engineering Physics Institute in Moscow. I was involved in the International Esperanto movement and participated in organizing a music studio in Stocholm, Sweden in 1990-95. I'm interested in art and music. I organized and participated in several concerts of Russian songs: in 2009 at Middlebury College, in 2010 and 2012 for the Russian House within the Global Village at UVM. My daughter participated in the TRIO/SSS program and graduated from UVM in 2007. The University of VT means so much to me, I'm happy working here and helping students to succeed.
